Hey Jasmine,
Just a note of gratitude for all the kindness you displayed to Adira over the past few weeks. No matter how many times you were called upon for advice – you never faltered!
Just when we thought we could ask no more – your generosity in time, effort and energy really came through when Eitan decided, in the last hour to run the marathon.
Not only did you continue to encourage both of them – but every single piece of advice (run/walk…salt…food intake etc.) was correct! We could have never done it without you!
Thank you…thank you…thank you… for a memory of a life time.
Ronni Katlowitz.
I came to P4S about 2 months ago just to learn some strategies to become a stronger and faster runner. What I didn’t know at the time was that I would get so much more than that because you guys are a special group of people!
Yesterday, when I arrived at the site in Staten Island, I was filled with anxiety. However, Pita must have sensed that because she took me and reminded me that I needed to warm up, so we went on little jog where I met up with Sammie, Chris and Tricia. I definitely began to feel better by then. Most of the race went well, except for the hill between mile 7 & 8 that seemed to zap my energy but I was definitely determined to finish. By mile 10 1/2, I was definitely fading and along came Aaron who reminded me that I “had this one” because I only had about 2 miles to go and that he would stay with me until mile 11. (and he certainly stayed and provided motivation). After he left, about 1/2 mile later I saw you and Pita who cheered me on and made me feel good. Pita came along and, realizing that I was fading and in pain, continued to run with me, providing encouragement and making me laugh along the way. She took me right up to mile 13, told me to finish strong and to smile for the camera. By the time I came close to the finish line, there were more P4S runners, – Christina and Sammie cheering me on and giving me great big P4S smiles. I felt darn good by then. Pita also made sure that my knees were wrapped in ice packs and Sammie stretched my legs. I was certainly overwhelmed by everything that was done for me.
So Jaz, I know I’m rambling by now but I must tell you that I feel so blessed to have you as my coach/trainer and to have the other P4S team mates by my side. You encourage me, motivate me and push me to be a stronger person. So I want to say thank you to you and to my P4S team mates for everything they did for me yesterday. It was certainly a memorable day. I am happy and honored to be a part of your team.
Sincerely, Yvette Randall
