WHAT ARE BOOTCAMP FITNESS SESSIONS?
Bootcamp is specifically designed to strengthen people that want to get fit by using your own body weight as resistance. This is an extremely efficient way to build strength, flexibility and muscular endurance. We use aerobic and anaerobic exercises to maximize your performance if you are training for an event, interested in staying fit after an event, interested in getting strong before you start training or interested in losing excess weight. We target the entire body and give special attention to the lower body and abs. The classes are geared toward people that want to get fit, lose pounds, lose inches, gain strength and endurance. Many runners have told me that they see a huge difference in their performance when they strength train versus not strength training. There are fewer injuries and improved speed and endurance when you combine aerobic and anaerobic exercise. More advanced participants can bring 3lb-5lb weights. Also bring a towel or mat to lay on for abdominal work. Please see the event calendar for dates, locations and times for our classes. Classes will be held in Prospect Park, Marine Park and Hudson River Park on the West Side Hwy at the Horatio street entrance. All participants must register for class prior to attending. You must cancel 8 hrs prior to the start of outdoor classes or you will be charged the full cost of the class. There are exceptions that will be considered. Bootcamp sessions will be held in 4 week intervals. All classes will be purchased in sessions of 4 (1 session per wk), 8 (2 sessions per week) and 12 (3 sessions per week). Sessions have to be purchased prior to the start of each 4 week session & MUST be used within the 4 week session. Please see pricing & start and cancel dates below:
You can carry up to 2 classes over to the next session once you purchase a new session. If you don't use all your sessions and don't purchase a new session, your sessions will expire on the last day of your current session. If you have a situation that occurs you can freeze your classes until you can take them. Corporate Discounts are given to the following: Jenny Craig Personal 1 on 1 Bootcamp training sessions in Brooklyn costs $60.00 for a 45 minute session & $80.00 for a 1hour session. 1 on 1 Bootcamp training sessions in Manhattan costs a bit more. Please contact me for pricing. There is a 24 hr cancellation policy. Virtual Training sessions are available on a monthly basis. I make up a monthly training calendar for you based on your schedule. I outline what exercises you do on various days. You have 7 day access to me via email & we have a weekly phone conversation to review your weekly progress. The goal is to keep you challenged and motivated. The Virtual program cost is $100.00 per month. You can pay for all classes by cash, credit card, debit card, check or money order. If paying by cash please do so prior to the start of class and not at the end of class. If bad weather conditions cause us to cancel class you can make up the class or carry that class over to the next month. I will not hold a session if there is lightening, hard rain, thunderstorms, icy weather or any dangerous weather conditions.
