Running Program
Group Training Sessions Print E-mail

We offer training for people that want to get fit and we also offer programs that prepare you for various endurance events and races. We also have a very popular class called RUNNERS BOOTCAMP that incorporates calisthenics, drills and running for all fitness levels. We have classes in Brooklyn and Manhattan, please see event calendar for date, time and location of classes. Register for classes on line by sending us an email with your name and class you will attend. You can also call us @ 877-791-8083 to register. Registration closes 3 hrs prior to the start of class. We have gift certificates available.

We also offer information on injury prevention and various topics related to safe and healthy running or walking. Please see the event calendar for date and time of sessions and contact us for more information or to register for a class. You HAVE to register for class at least 3 hrs prior to class whether you are taking a single session or if you are in one of the training programs. Please cxl up to 3 hrs prior to class or you will be charged for the class anyway. I will cxl class in dangerous weather conditions (ice, lightening, hail, thunderstorm etc).

NYC HALF MARATHON TRAINING PROGRAM STARTS THE 1ST WEEK OF JUNE

 

5k & 10K training sessions for 10 weeks:

The cost for 5k & 10K training sessions for 10 weeks (sessions are 2x a week) is $350.00- you can also pay in 2 installments contact us for details.

The cost for 5k & 10K training sessions for 10 weeks (sessions are 1x a week) is $185.00 - you can also pay in 2 installments contact us for details.

 

15k training sessions for 12 weeks:

The cost for 15k training sessions for 12 weeks (sessions are 2x a week) is $420.00 - you can also pay in 3 installments contact us for details.

The cost for 15k training sessions for 12 weeks (sessions are 1x a week) is $222.00- you can also pay in 2 installments contact us for details.

 

Half Marathon training sessions for 14 weeks:

The cost for Half Marathon training sessions for 14 weeks (sessions are 2x a week)is $490.00 - you can also pay in 3 installments contact us for details.

The cost for Half Marathon training sessions for 14 weeks (sessions are 1x a week)is $260.00 - you can also pay in 2 installments contact us for details.

 

Marathon training sessions for 18 weeks:

The cost of Marathon training sessions for 18 weeks (sessions are 2x a week) is $630.00. Only people that have run a 10k, 15k, half marathon or marathon qualify for this class. You can also pay in 3 installments contact us for details.

The cost of Marathon training sessions for 18 weeks (sessions are 1x a week) is $333.00. Only people that have run a 10k,15k,half marathon or marathon qualify for this class. You can also pay in 3 installment contact us for details.

 

Monthly Run Program or Single Running Sessions

This program includes the Run/Strength/Core class & the Speed/Hill/Interval class & starts the 1st week of every month. These classes can be taken individually or as part of the program. See details for class below. The 1day per week session costs $75.00 & the 2day a week program costs $140.00.

Run/Strength Train/Core Training Session

This class is a combination of running & strength training specifically designed to strengthen the endurance athlete. You run in between strength training exercises. The strength training exercises target the entire body with special attention given to your core. This class is held on Monday evenings from 7pm - 8pm in Prospect Park. Meet at the Grand Army Plz entrance of the park. Please register for class by going to the "contact us" page and send an e-mail or call 877-791-8083. Classes are $20.00 per session and TNT/Corporate Discount of $18.00. We also offer a discounted rate of 4 sessions for $77.00 and a TNT/CORP DISCOUNT of $72.00

Speed/Hill/Interval/ Training

This class is designed for people that want to get stronger and improve their time for any race distance. This class will include tempo runs, fartleks & other speed techniques. You run short to long fast interval runs followed by recovery runs or walks. Hill Training is imperative for any runner that plans to run an endurance event or wants to work on time goals for any race. It increases strength in your lower body which increases your muscle endurance and speed. We teach you the RIGHT technique for running hills and we include speed drills as well. Beginners to advanced runner's are welcome. Classes start in February 2009. Please see the calendar for dates. Participants are required to have a sports watch so that they can record their splits and track their progress.
