| KIDS FITNESS PROGRAM – SPRING/SUMMER 2009! |
Our kid’s fitness programs start in the Spring/Summer 2009 and our goal is to stress the importance of fitness, strength, flexibility, stamina and good sportsmanship to the kids while having FUN! We accept kids in the following age groups: Ages 7-9The fitness classes will be held in Prospect Park & Marine Park in Brooklyn. The class will focus on agility balance and coordination. We use agility ladders, jump ropes, agility rings and drills to keep the kids interested and moving for an hour. We will do relays races and various events to encourage the kids and raise self esteem. Ages 10-12The fitness classes will be held in Prospect Park & Marine Park in Brooklyn. The class will focus on agility balance and coordination. We use agility ladders, jump ropes, agility rings and drills to keep the kids interested and moving for an hour. We also introduce running to this age group. We do drills that will include relays and we do speed training. We would have races for the kids to participate in so they feel a sense of accomplishment throughout the training. Ages 13-16The fitness classes will be held in Prospect Park & Marine Park in Brooklyn. The class will focus on agility balance and coordination. We use agility ladders, jump ropes, agility rings and drills to keep the kids interested and moving for an hour. We also do a lot of running drills, relays and speed work with this age group. We would have races for the kids to participate in so they feel a sense of accomplishment throughout the training. Sessions last for one hour and cost is $180.00 for 10 sessions (minimum 4 kids) & will be offered 1x-2x a week and parents are encouraged to work out with the kids.
